Description

This is a one-of-a-kind shawl, that will keep you warm in the coldest of Wisconsin winters. I dyed and spun most of the wool myself. Many hours and lots of love went into this piece. I hope it brings you as much joy to wear, as it brought me to make. This is a lovely design, expertly knit, with super soft yarn.

"My support for the work of GSAFE began when my daughter was in kindergarten, and one of her closest friends was a little girl who was born into the body of a boy. This was 20 years ago, and it was the beginning of my understanding of how very innate the sense of gender and self is for some children who identify as LGBTQ+. The work of GSAFE is so important to help these precious children safe, included, and respected as they go through the challenging years of elementary and secondary education.

Description

This is a scarf for all seasons. Made with a solid wool/cotton blend yarn, and a hand-dyed one-of-a-kind cotton/poly blend yarn. The variegated stripes, and the calming blue solid, combine together to create an accessory that can be worn with just about anything. I had a lot of fun dying this yarn, and knitting this scarf.
