Each year we "raise the paddle" for the Playhouse Scholarships that our Booster Club awards in May on closing night of our final production. Seniors will receive awards that will help send our thespians to college! Underclassmen will also receive scholarships to help with any musical theatre training, such as voice or dance lessons.

Give ANY amount you feel comfortable with. Every dollar helps our students!

Don't miss this "Chairman of the Board - A Personal Charcuterie How-To" Party with Stratford's own Candy Fichtner - @seecandycook. Twelve lucky winners will attend this "Board Meeting" to learn tips and tricks to create your very own beautiful and delicious personal charcuterie board. Wine and light bites will be provided by your host Traci, and Candy will provide goodies that will enhance your make-you-own charcuterie board. An event that's yummy, fun and practical! Back to School Party! Students and Parents will battle it out in an epic series of events at the 1st Annual Playhouse Back to School Bash! Join us for a Parents vs Kids Volleyball Tournament, Cornhole, Jenga, Trivia, and lots of fun! Not into competition? Come and hang out with our fun and fabulous Playhouse Families to kick-off the school year. Event will be located at the Powder Keg (Brittmoore) for 2 hours of volleyball, free non-alcoholic drinks, music, and more. A casual dinner will also be provided. This is sure to be an unforgettable event!

This is also a great chance for current 8th grade (rising 9th grade families) to get to know the Playhouse!

Audition like a star! Are you current a 8th grader who is interested in auditioning for the Playhouse? Are you a 9th grader that wants to know more about how to do a great audition? This is for you! This is a customizable package that will help you with all 3 aspects of your Playhouse audition: singing, dancing and acting. Work with current Playhouse Pros (experienced students) who will guide you through the process, answer questions and help walk you through what an audition at Stratford entails and/or how to excel and really shine. This mock audition will have 3 stations to cover each element of an audition, but this is customizable, so if your student is more concerned about one area than another, we will accommodate them! Your student will get to experience a mock audition in the actual rooms where the auditions will take place. (They can come with a song prepared to practice or just watch and learn.) They will also get to learn a dance routine and perform in a mock dance audition. There will be some scenes to work through as well. All of this will help your upcoming star have the best audition possible. No need to prepare anything for the event unless they want to. Perfect for the singer that isn't comfortable with dancing, the dancer that isn't sure about singing or anyone that just wants to learn more about the audition process!

Saturday, April 9th, 10am-12pm. A snack and water will be provided, as well as a brief tour of the new auditorium. Rotate through stations: singing, dancing, acting. Receive audition tips. This is not an actual audition. Work with 4 -5 current playhouse stars. No material to prep. Only 15 students will be able to take part in this invaluable opportunity!

Bonus offer as part of this package: Any parent who desires to stay and attend a Parent Session to ask questions about the Playhouse audition process can stay and participate from 10-11am (in a separate room). A light breakfast will be provided.

This experience will be held at the same time at Playhouse 101. This mock audition offers a closer, more in-depth look at the audition process, whereas Playhouse 101 will include some theatre warm-up games and primarily be a Q&A.

Learn about Stratford Playhouse! Informational Session for both middle school students and parents to learn more about the playhouse, audition process, crew application, Thespians, what we do, and how we do it.

You will have the chance to talk with and learn from your favorite Playhouse stars and the behind the scenes Crew that makes the magic happen backstage. The Stratford Playhouse Directors will come by to say hello and answer questions too. You will also get to tour the new theater and be some of the first students to see behind the scenes. There will also be theater games and prizes for the winners! You don't want to miss this!

Light breakfast will be provided. Winners will be sent an email with exact meeting location and any final details.

A delicious meal of reduced wine short ribs, au gratin potatoes, a fabulous salad, charcuterie board and amazing desserts awaits you with fabulous wines paired with each course! A local Sommelier will educate us on the wines as we eat. You may discover a new favorite! Come dressed in white and denim, in true "Napa Fashion." You will enjoy dinner in the exclusive, member-only Nos Caves Vin Event Room located at Frostwood and Kingsride with your favorite Playhouse friends.
