Laura Frederick works primarily in fiber art and watercolor as well as collaborations with her husband Craig, who is a metal sculptor. She loves working with natural fibers and found materials. She is a faithful recycler and currently reuses and repurposes plastic bags into rugs, mats and tote bags. She also weaves with T-shirt and silk rag. She creates artist books and journals from natural fibers and grasses.

A "forever" teacher, she loves her work with the local women at Entreamigos. She believes through sharing our creative ideas it is possible to make our world a more caring and mindful community.
