Give a foster child a voice for three months through the donation of a CASA volunteer.
CASA volunteers will get to know everyone involved in the child's life, so that they can act as the eyes and the ears for the Judge and advocate for the child's best interests inside and outside the courtroom.
Give a foster child a voice for one year through the donation of a CASA volunteer.
CASA volunteers will get to know everyone involved in the child's life so that they can act as the eyes and the ears for the Judge and advocate for the child's best interests inside and outside the courtroom.
Your gift will help us recruit, train, and support one new CASA volunteer for one year. CASA volunteers typically advocate for 2-3 children in their first year and have a lasting impact on these children's lives. The average CASA volunteer stays with our program for nearly 3 years!
CASA volunteers complete an entrance interview with our staff, pass three background checks, and complete 40 hours of pre-service training and pre-work before they are sworn in by the court. Additionally, they complete 12 hours of continuing education annually, along with the 5-20 hours they volunteer each month to support the CASA kid(s) and family they serve.
Your funding will help CASA provide a full year of advocacy for five abused and neglected children. That is five lives changed forever!
CASA volunteers will be able to provide consistency to these children when they need it most. They will be able to keep the focus on these children in the courtroom while getting to know everyone involved in these children's lives outside the courtroom.
These CASA volunteers will help build resilience and trust through stability and dedication through the full length of a Dependency Neglect case. They will help brighten futures for local Missoula area kids who need it most.
Your gift will help us recruit, train, and support two new CASA volunteers for one year. Two CASA volunteers typically advocate for 4-6 children in their first year and have a lasting impact on these children's lives. The average CASA volunteer stays with our program for nearly 3 years!
