GOAL

On Sunday, November 14, 2021, Ethan Isaiah Jackson, loving son and brother, passed away at the young age of 18.

One of Ethan's defining qualities was his passion for helping others. No matter how difficult the task was, Ethan was always the first to volunteer his help. If anyone needed him, he would be there.

A true animal lover, Ethan's compassion extended to all creatures. He had nicknames for every animal he came across, whether it was a stray cat, a dog walking by, or his very own best friend. It brought his family so much joy to watch him hug and play with the family pets, where his playful spirit and huge heart truly shone. Ethan loved to spend his time volunteering at the San Antonio Humane Society and was more than happy to take on any job without complaint, even the messy ones.

It was during one of his volunteer shifts at the SAHC that Ethan met one of his greatest loves, a terrier mix named Baxter who he fondly referred to as 'Bean.' Ethan was cleaning one of the kennels when Baxter caught his eye as the only dog who wasn't barking. Instead, Baxter sat quietly and watched Ethan his entire shift. Once his work was done, Ethan took him on a walk where Baxter's antics made Ethan laugh, and the rest is history. Ethan and Bean were inseparable ever since.

Defined by his fierce personality and protective spirit, Ethan was so passionate about taking care of his loved ones. But even though he was fiery, he was also goofy and loved nothing more than to make others laugh. He was compassionate, generous, and loving to everyone who ever met him.

Thank you for any donations made in Ethan's honor.
