Molecular Gastronomy with OGS Science teacher, Mr. Oesch. Using scientific processes, your child will chemically and physically transform everyday foods into a delicious science experience. This is always a live auction favorite!

The menu includes 4 courses: Fruit juice caviar, tomato "twizzler-style" caprese salad, "invisible" ravioli, and dry-ice ice cream. These will be created by your child and up to three of their friends in the 6th grade science lab after school.

This winning bidder gets to appoint their child as Superintendent for the Day (1/2 day) with D68 Superintendent Allison Sherman! Get a behind the scenes look at what it takes to manage Oak Grove School. Have you ever wanted to try Japanese Book Binding? Well, now is your chance! The winning bidder gets to pick a student and 5 friends to learn this ancient art from Mrs. Watrous.

She will teach a few different bindings and then show the group how to use stamps and embossing to decorate the cover. This awesome experience will take place for an hour after school on a mutually agreed upon day with Mrs. Watrous.

The winning bidder gets their student an opportunity to "drive" the school zamboni all around the junior high under the careful supervision of OGS maintenance magician Ozzie Suarez.

They are big, slow, awesome machines that clean the school floors and retail for thousands of dollars. Seriously, we found one online that sells for $35,000 brand new (we aren't quite sure how much the OGS one costs, but has to be around that).
