My name is Allison Fedak! I am a digital illustrator and graduate from the College of Creative Studies based in Southeastern Michigan.

With being an autistic woman and an artist, you have to be very careful with what you and your work say. I am not careful in any respect. You can see where the issues arise.
There's a real joy in not beholding yourself to expectation though, and my work should exemplify that. After all, I stayed up until 2am, coated my hands in paint multiple times over, and then trashed my clothes and a plastic card table to make this diptych possible. Sometimes that's how you have to approach life, if we're talking in metaphors. You just have to trust the process.

ARTIST BIO:

I majored in Fine Arts from 2016 to 2018 at Madonna University graduating with a Bachelor's Degree. During the traditional work day, I currently work as aa employee for a document-shredding company known as Pure Data Services. Outside of business hours I continue to pursue my passion of art, working on honing my craft at a variety of mediums. I have a keen interest in drawing, and am always looking for new and interesting subjects, ranging from landscapes to animals. I was a featured artist with Upbound at Work, an entrepreneurship program for neurodiverse artists and tradesmen. My artwork has been featured with Upbound at Work at several Metro Detroit locations, including juried competitions in Royal Oak and Wyandotte. My artwork has been sold at Eastern Market, Arts, Beats, and Eats, and at the Downriver Council for the Arts.
