DREAMS EXHIBIT

Thursday, October 7 - Saturday, November 20, 2021

Gallery Hours:  Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday from 10am to 2pm

Opening Reception is Thursday, October 14th from 6-8pm

While art is used to open our eyes to a world of possibilities beyond reality, it serves another purpose as well; art functions as a tool to inspire dreams and visions.  The act of expressing dreams and visions is in itself a voyage of self-discovery.  The art in this exhibit documents a meaningful moment of perception for the artist, thereby portraying a different realm of cognition for their audience that is beyond but not isolated from the mundane realities of life.

The arts foster creativity, goodness and beauty. Art brings us joy, helps us to connect with others, and helps us to express our values. The arts are a fundamental component of healthy communities, strengthening them socially, educationally and economically., benefits that are particularly important in difficult social and economic times.   

Creative York inspires creativity in the community through arts education, gallery experiences and outreach programs. We offer programs for ages 3 to 103 at our facility and throughout York County.
