Hosting the 7th Annual Dinner Theater was an incredible joy. This tradition has become a special way for us to celebrate the Advent season, and we love sharing it with you! We are so thankful to our volunteers, guests, and staff for such a fun event!

Written by Dave Eliason and Brian Pearson, this year's show brings us pert' near close to home. Winnie, native of Bonanza, Minnesota, is thankful to be away from home for the holiday season. With a new life in North Carolina, Christmas will look a little different. But maybe that's not all it's cracked up to be? We hope you enjoy this show with bluegrass flare (and maybe some accordion)!

Enjoy the show alongside a four course meal complete with hors d'oeuvres, salad course, main course and dessert course. You're sure to leave full and entertained! Limited quantities of tickets will be available - for sale beginning October 18. Order tickets for one of five shows online here or by calling our office at 320-796-2181!

COVID-19 Precautions Update: Green Lake Lutheran Ministries is now requiring that ticket holders (aged 12 and above) be fully vaccinated or provide proof of negative test result (FDA approved test) taken within 72 hours of attendance. Exceptions to this policy will apply to ticket holders under age 12. Our employees are being held to the same standards. We will offer a full refund for those who need to cancel their reservations due to COVID-19. Thank you for understanding!

Our staff will be closely monitoring the COVID guidelines from the CDC and Minnesota Health Department. We will take all precautions necessary to keep our guests safe, and will keep you updated should changes need to be made.

Unable to attend this year's show? Order a takeout Meatball Dinner featuring your Dinner Theater favorites! For $25 per person, enjoy homemade meatballs, mashed potatoes and gravy, glazed carrots, fresh dinner rolls with butter, pasta salad, raspberry cream cheese jello salad, and rommegrot. Preorder your meals before December 13 to save yours!

All of this will available for curbside pickup at Green Lake Bible Camp in Spicer on December 17 from 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM. Come to the main Chrysalis House parking lot and follow the signs to park. We will bring your food right out to you! When filling out the order form, please identify your best estimate of when you will be picking up your meals!

With the purchase of a takeout meatball dinner, you'll also receive access to an online prerecorded performance. On December 17, the link will be sent to you via email. The show will be sent directly to you. When you're ready to watch it, all you will need to do is click the red link provided in the email and enjoy!

Round out your Dinner Theater meal with the perfect dessert! Add a plate of assorted Christmas bars for $10 a dozen. Flavors vary:

Peanut Delights: buttery crust with chocolate and peanut glaze
Frosted Almond Bar: beautiful almond flavor on a shortbread crust - melts in your mouth!
Peanut Butter Krispie: peanut butter and Rice Krispies, topped with a chocolate layer - a classic that all will enjoy!
Prayer Bar: three layers of sweetness including chocolate, coconut and graham cracker
Brownie: chocolate brownie topped with decadent ganache
Salted Nut Roll: salted peanuts, caramel and nougat - a Minnesota classic!

Limited quantities are available. Get your order in early to save your plate! Orders will be accepted through December 13. Bars will be available for pick up on Friday, December 17 from 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM, or when you attend the show! When filling out the order form, please identify your best estimate of when you will be picking up your bars!
