Grand Cru Wine Tasting for Eight at the Union League of Philadelphia
Fox Chase Cancer Center Foundation Board Member Peter Kreindler will share his extensive, one-of-a-kind grand cru collection with you and seven guests at this exclusive dinner and wine tasting in the luxe, private wine room of the Union League of Philadelphia. You'll begin with hors d'oeuvres, accompanied by fabulous Laurent-Perrier champagne, provided by Kathleen Poyser. A four course dinner will follow, accompanied by carefully selected vintages including the 2008 Domaine Remoissenet: Corton-Charlemagne (96 Points), 2008 Domaine Remoissenet: Le Montrachet (92 Points), 2001 Domaine Leroy: Richebourg (92 Points), 2002 Domaine Roumier: Bonnes-Mares (93 points), 1990 Chateau Latour (98 Points), 1990 Chateau Margaux (100 Points), and 2001 Chateau d'Yquem Sauternes (not rated). These highly rated, rare wines are among the best produced, earning acclaim by Robert Parker as "magnificent", "legendary" and "a triumph."
For an even more memorable evening, you and your guests will delight in a pre-dinner concert by musicians from the Philadelphia Orchestra. This 30-minute musical spectacular will feature Philadelphia Orchestra Concertmaster David Kim, Principal Harpist Elizabeth Hainen DePeters, and Violist and Fox Chase Foundation Board Member Anna Marie Petersen.
