Carter Family Wines is a new winery, yes, winery that is located near downtown Greenville. John Michial Carter and his wife, Catherine decided that Greenville was the ideal spot to locate a real, functioning winery. The winner of this lot and 3 guests get: 1) a tour of the winery; 2) a tasting of the current red and white wines, and 3) a barrel tasting of the latest vintage. 2019 Dum Spero Spiro, Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon Blend

Carter Family Wine's Dum Spiro Spero Reserve reflects the highest quality version of their cab blends, dominated by "free run" juice, separated prior to press. Dum Spiro Spero is an elegant, foody Cabernet Sauvignon. The winemaker's approach was to construct the perfect Cab to pair with savory foods. The grapes are sourced from Barr Estate Vineyard in Paso Robles, California. At harvest, the grapes are hand picked and then carefully trucked in refrigeration to Carter Family Wines winery in Greenville, South Carolina where they are sorted, destemmed, crushed, fermented, pressed and aged.

This is not a typical wine tasting experience. Enjoy a private wine tasting with our winemaker as we pour our latest vintage wines. You'll see how Carter Family Wines are made, tour our small winery, and learn about winemaking techniques. The wine tasting will include;
