Jewelers love making brooches. Each one is a mini-sculpture that allows for so many variations. This is Audrey the Brooch. The bottom started as a round bowl-shaped hollow-form that I deconstructed and rebuilt. I carved the top piece from laminated ebony and holly. The metal is sterling silver and it easily pins to a jacket, coat, or sweater with the two sturdy tie-tack style pins.
