Hello All,
On Saturday November 6, 2021, the New Community Shelter will be hosting our 26th Annual Bowl-A-Thon at Ashwaubenon Bowling Alley. This event is one the the biggest way to raise funds for the Shelter for the year and as we are a non profit organization fundraisers are very important to keep us going.
A little about us:
New Community Shelter is the only Emergency Shelter in Brown County open year-round that serves homeless adults only from Brown County. Our belief is that only through addressing the issues which contributed to their homelessness is an individual able to break the cycle of homelessness. The goal is to deliver services with an emphasis on the values of respect, empowerment and accountability.
The New Community Shelter also offers a Transitional Living Program for those needing extra time and care as they transition from homelessness to self-sufficiency. We also have a Community Meal Program which is the only meal program in Brown County that serves dinner year-round and lunch every weekend and all holidays to anyone in the community who is in need.
100% of the donations go right to the shelter to help with food, clothing, and keeping the lights on. Please help donate so we can reach our goal of $10,000 to continue to support those in our community.
Thank you from the New Community Shelter Case Management Team!
