CP Auction | Statement on COVID Safety

 

At the 32nd Annual CP Auction, presented by KBX, on Friday, Oct. 22, at the Johnsonville Tailgate Village at Lambeau Field, CP will be focused on not only on a night of entertainment and inspiration but also on the health and safety of all who attend, from ticketholders and sponsors to staff and volunteers. CP encourages all Auction attendees to wear masks when not actively eating or drinking and to social distance, when possible, to help mitigate the spread of COVID-19 in our community. Masks will be provided at entry at no charge.

With 13,242 sq. feet and a venue capacity that exceeds 2,000 people on a busy game day, CP has decided to keep our capacity limited to 300 individuals to encourage social distancing. What does this boil down to? 44 sq ft per person or 15% of overall capacity. In addition, we are offering reserved seating for table purchases and sponsors to minimize contact for those who want that option.

In addition to the steps CP has taken, the Green Bay Packers and Delaware North staff are receiving ongoing briefings, trainings, and enhanced safe operating protocols. The steps they are taking to help reduce the risk of COVID-19 include, but are not limited to:

  • Maintaining and monitoring stringent housekeeping practices and protocols, more rigorous routine cleaning and disinfecting of high-traffic/high-touch surfaces. Areas included but not limited to: common spaces, handrails, restrooms, doors/doorknobs, audiovisual equipment, elevators, escalators and other elements of the onsite event environment.
  • Use of hospital-grade disinfectants and cleaners.
  • Continuously adjusting food and beverage service in accordance with current food-safety practices.  
  • Increased availability of hand sanitizer stations.
  • Adjustment of heating and air conditioning systems in accordance with guidelines to help mitigate virus transmission.
