An Introduction to CHA?
Christian Hunters of America (CHA) is a 501(c)3 non-profit and a non-denominational bible-centered hunting organization that was founded in 2001 and formerly known as Desert Christian Archers. Our passion and desire was to spread the salvation of Jesus Christ in the archery and bow hunting communities!
As the organization and passion grew over the years, it was clear that we needed to go to the next level to open the doors wider so we could reach out to more individuals beyond the deserts of the Southwest and beyond just archery hunting. In 2017 we launched our new national brand Christian Hunters of America. We're still the same good 'ole boys and gals, but we've opened our arms to include all hunters. Our primary mission to serve is based on Ministry, Seminars and Hunts.
We are best known for our annual Elk Hunting Seminar where attendance has exceeded 1500 people who learned hunting tactics, tips and techniques from our Pro Staff! We are also very active throughout the year as we host various archery clinics, hunting seminars and even provide archery equipment for group events as well.
We have a varied membership from archery target shooters, bow hunters, rifle hunters and some folks who just come for the Christian fellowship! Being a very family oriented club where all are welcome!
Terms and Conditions
*All participants must be twenty-one (21) years of age or older and physically present in a place at the time of entry purchase that this contest, raffles and lotteries are legal. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. The contest is void where prohibited. All entries are non-refundable. If the presumptive winner is found to be ineligible they will be disqualified and the prize will revert back to Christian Hunters of America. By entering the contest, the entry purchaser acknowledges that he or she is aware of, and agrees to abide by the contest rules and regulations.
FIREARM CONTESTS: All firearm contest participants must be a U. S. citizen, must be a minimum of 21 years old and must pass the mandatory background check. If the winner is not able to pass the background check the firearm prize will be forfeited.
RAFFLES NOT VALID IN AL, HI, KS, NJ or WA
Only the winner can pick up the firearm.
Prizes may not be exactly as shown. By entering the contest, participants agree that their contact information provided in connection with the contest entry may be used for communications promoting the contest and future contests sponsored by or conducted for the benefit of Christian Hunters of America.
All participants release Christian Hunters of America and their respective companies, affiliates, partners, subsidiaries, agents, representatives, sponsors, service agencies and independent contractors, and each of their respective directors, officers, partners, employees and agents, including advertising and promotion agencies, from any and all liability with respect to participation in the promotion, possession, use and distribution of the prize(s) awarded.
All winners shall be responsible for any and all federal, state and local income or excise taxes, fees, assessments and like charges associated with the prizes. The IRS has taken the position that amounts paid for chances to participate in contests, raffles, lotteries or similar programs are not gifts and, therefore, the price of the entry does not qualify as a deductible charitable contribution.
Winners must accept terms and conditions before the raffle item will be issued.
