East Coast Expedition: Annapolis
The Epilepsy Foundation Maryland and Sail For Epilepsy are proud to partner together to present the East Coast Expedition: Annapolis as part of the first leg of Sail For Epilepsy's global voyage sailing the oceans of the world to inspire people living with epilepsy. The last stop on the East Coast Expedition is at the South Annapolis Yacht Center on Saturday September 18th.
We invite you to come celebrate the young people in your life living with epilepsy and to inspire them to live life to the fullest! Join us for a fun day at the South Annapolis Yacht Centre on Saturday September 18, 2021 from 12-2pm. Meet Phil Haydon, the Captain of the East Coast Expedition, see his boat, take part in nautical workshops and crafts and other fun outdoor activities, including live entertainment. Participants will help make a flag that will be flown on board during future voyages, as well have an opportunity to become a Virtual Shipmate.

Children and young people living with epilepsy attend for free. Tickets for siblings and other family members are $10 each.

What is the East Coast Expedition??
The global Sail For Epilepsy voyage begins this summer with an expedition along the East Coast of the United States. The five-port journey includes Newport, RI, Portland, ME, Boston MA, Philadelphia, PA and Annapolis. The East Coast Expedition will be the first leg in Phil's goal to sail the oceans of the world.
You can be part of the voyage to educate, raise awareness and inspire people with epilepsy, their families and caregivers to take One More Step on a personal journey towards achieving a fuller life.
