Inspiration: "Butterflies as a metaphor for blooming artists is a vast and important concept to The Pour Painter. Every young artist is a chrysalis waiting to burst forth with a new generation driven to the artistic exploration of their experiences Generationally, art is a gift. As we stand on each other's shoulders, we lift future artists to new heights and teach them how to fly. Our grandmothers taught us the basis for the art that we would grow from into the artists we are still becoming. She taught us that art (like life) is a journey, not a destination. This project is dedicated to her or rather, to all grandmothers who inspire the next generation to embrace the arts."
