Seafoam came to One Tail as a heart worm positive dog from Texas. Heartworm can be fatal but is completely treatable with the appropriate care. Unfortunately, many dogs in shelters still die from heartworm. One Tail treats hundreds of dogs for heartworm each year, including dogs like Seafoam, who is now recovering in her forever home.
