Historic Tilt-top Table

Once owned by the Fleming family, this petite and handmade tilt-top table or candlestand is crafted in the vernacular style of a Sheraton tripod from the late 18th and early 19th century. This gorgeous heirloom is attributed to a local cabinetmaker or plantation ebiniste in the Williamson County, Tennessee area. Crafted from solid walnut with a handmade hinge upon the bottom for tilting, it is quintessentially Southern due to its oval top.

This rare piece is accompanied with an official appraisal.

Col. Littleton Leather Bag
No 1 Grip (Leather; Vintage Brown)
If you had boarded a train in the late 19th century, your travel bag would have been called a grip. With solid brass hardware, the unique level-action buckling mechanism and strap arrangement make it perfect for a weekend stay. It comes with "instant heritage" because it looks as if it could have been inherited from your grandfather. 11" H x 19" W x 10.5" D. Each bag has a serial-numbered brass plate on the inside front of the bag. Made in the Col. Littleton workshop in Lynnville, TN.
