Gorgeous handblown glass vase/ice bucket by artist Scott Hodes.

- 7" W X 9" tall

Artist Statement:

"The format of the glass vessel inspires a sense of timelessness. My directive in creating encalmo atmospheric vessels is to produce a truly original line of glass bowls, bottles, vases, and urns utilizing the elegant, traditional Italian 'encalmo' technique of joining glass bubbles while hot."

About the Artist:

Scott Hodes is a Nashville, TN native. In 1992, he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Art from the University of Wisconsin in Madison, with an emphasis in glass and neon. In 1996, he received a Master of Fine Arts degree from Kent State University in Kent, Ohio.
