INTO THE LIGHT
$330Into the Light By Memory Bradley

Instagram @memorybradleyart
24" Medium Butterfly
Into the light reflects the colors of our beautiful desert utilizing the often overlooked medium of wool. You wouldn't normally think of wool as particularly translucent, so the idea of transforming the material in a way that allows light to shine through is appealing. Into the Light embodies the yellow, golds, browns, and blues of our amazing landscape. It radiates beauty and luminous sunshine.
The artist wanted to bring a little surprise into your life. Living in the desert we don't often think about wool beyond sweaters and scarves. In this case, The artist wanted to transform this wool into light filtering material that is reminiscent of stained glass. Using nuno felting, she transformed wool, silk, and viscose fibers to create a custom fabric in our gorgeous desert colors.
About Memory Bradley...
Welcome to my wonderful work of art! I have had an artist's heart my entire life, and I enjoy working in many mediums including fibers, textiles, paper mache, and clay. Waking up and breathing life into sculptures is a gift that fills me with gratitude. I am especially eager to promote fiber arts in my work, which often showcases the magical powers of the humble piece of fluff known as wool. I feel compelled to take this material and transform it into wool paintings, sculptures, purses, and wearables. From dragons to scenic deserts views, my work is always changing and growing in new directions. letting inspiration carry me away on fabulous artistic journeys has been a dream come true for me.

$530Up, Up and Away by Jenni Willigord
www.jennywilligrod.com
24" Medium Butterfly
This butterfly is happy to be free of all constraints. She is ready to spread her wings and fly. Nothing is holding her back.
Inspired by the end of the pandemic and new beginnings.
About the Artist...
You can ask any artist, "What drives you to create?" and the response will be the same.
"It is part of my existence." I love of art began as a child and has been an essential part of my life ever since. I obtained my degree from Texas A&M University, began a career in graphic design, and was ultimately promoted to advertising creative director. Her opportunity to begin a fine art career began when my husband's job transferred our family to Phoenix in 1997. At that time I responded to a "call for artist" for the Phoenix Children's Hospital and was commissioned for over 20 multi-media pieces. With that first commission, I began to promote my style and in December of 2002, I was selected as the guest artist for
Phoenix Home & Garden magazine.
Throughout the years, I have been commissioned for works as far away as Australia and locally have received first place in the Fountain Hills Juried Art show for both acrylics and multi-media. My love for chalk pastels began about 6 years ago as I began experimenting with different mediums in order to obtain a bright and bold outcome. I personally label my work "Southwest Whimsical" as my subject matter is inspired by fond memories of scenes from the Southwest and Mexico infused with brilliant color.
Currently, I am represented in four galleries: Fountain Hills Artists' Gallery, On The Edge Gallery in Scottsdale and Van Gogh's Ear Gallery in Prescott and Romero Street Gallery in Albuquerque New Mexico. I continue to enjoy working with pastels and find inspiration daily in our beautiful town of Fountain Hills, AZ.

PASSING TIME
$215Passing Time By Memory Bradley

Instagram @memorybradleyart
12" Small Butterfly
Passing Time is the story of our glorious Arizona days, and equally nights. Timeless this piece hopes to inspire appreciation for the beauty present in each day. If Passing Time were to fly away, she would spread a message of gratitude for living each moment fully, whether the sun is shining or the stars are playing in the sky.
The artist was inspired by how easy it is to get caught up in a whirlwind of stress and worry. Life happens and problems can sweep you off your feet. However, if we took the time to breathe and look around, we would find anchors of stability all around us. In this case, the "passing of time" from glorious sunsets to sunny days, are reliable. Finding peace in that helps us find security the the rest of our life seems to be rocking us across troubled waters. Take a breath, look at the beauty in our world, practice gratitude, and find peace knowing the sun will still rise tomorrow.
