About the Item

Bracelet with faceted oblong & spherical amethyst stones, sea glass rondels, connected with sterling silver spirals, pewter clasp. earrings with hammered sterling design, amethyst stones. Cavanaugh likes geometric designs and amethyst myths spoke to its ability to calm the mind, so needed in our pandemic times.

Bracelet: 7 1/2 " length, 1/2" width
Earrings: 1" length, 1/4" width

About the Artist

Cavanaugh retired from clinical social worker practice after 28 years with the school mental health center. She has enjoyed charcoal drawing, landscape photography, hiking, travel, writing poetry, sewing and creating silver jewelry. Cavanaugh volunteers as a docent at the Brooks Museum of Art.
