"Both the natural world and architectural grit have a place in Lisa Breslow's work, highlighting the pull of New York City that is created by these opposing forces side-by-side. She seeks out places of quiet and calm within the busy urban landscape and distills them down to their essence, creating atmospheric compositions activated by mood, energy, and light rather than a literal portrayal. Daffodils was hand printed in thirteen colors at the Wing Lake Studio in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, U.S.A. Each of the thirteen original color separations was drawn by the artist, then screenprinted using an indirect sensigraphic stencil system. The printing sequence number is followed by the color name, color density level (1=transparent...10=opaque), color value level (1=lightest...10=darkest), and the developmental image.

Janet Fish was born in Boston, Massachusetts in 1938 and raised in Bermuda. Fish received a Bachelor of Arts degree at Smith College and a Master of Fine Arts degree at Yale University.
A realist, Fish is well known for her richly executed oil paintings and pastels of glass objects, fruit and flowers. Her work has been included in American Realism, Isetan Museum, Tokyo; Contemporary American Realism since 1960, Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts; and in Real, Really Real and Super Real, a traveling exhibition organized by San Antonio Museum of Art. Public collections include The Metropolitan Museum of Art and Whitney Museum of American Art, New York; The Art Institute of Chicago, Illinois; The Cleveland Museum of Art, Ohio; Dallas Museum of Art, Texas; and Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. Corporate collections include AT&T, American Airlines, Amstar Corporation, Chase Manhattan Bank, Heublein Inc., and IBM.
Fish won the 1993 American Artist Achievement Award/Oils; an Australian Council for the Arts grant to travel and lecture in Australia in 1975; MacDowell Colony Fellowships in 1968, 1969 and 1972 and the Harris Award, Chicago Biennale 1974.
Tulips in Green Glass, a painting by Janet Fish, was featured on the cover of Watercolor Highlights, published by American Artist, Summer 1993. Watercolor 91, Spring issue, included a feature article, "Janet Fish." In 1987, Burton Skira & Co. Ltd. published the book, Janet Fish by Garrit Henry.
Fish thinks of herself as a "painterly realist," primarily interested in light, atmosphere, motion and lush, saturated color. Motion and energy pervade Fish's compositions. In 1988, Fish turned to watercolors and, in 1991, to collaborative screenprints at the Wing Lake Studio of Stewart & Stewart, Bloomfield Hills, Michigan.

William McCarthy is an award-winning atmospheric landscape painter whose works have a luminous quality achieved through his own technique of using many layers of diluted oil color, glazes and varnish. His paintings reference places that contain a quiet inner light. His artistry is based on his deft handling of light and texture and his vast knowledge of various techniques. He has garnered numerous solo shows throughout the northeast and can be found in private and corporate collections such as the Mayo Clinic, New York Public Library, and Yale Art Gallery. McCarthy studied at the Columbus College of Art and Design, as well as at Wesleyan University. He was awarded an Individual Artist Grant from the Connecticut Commission on the Arts and had a solo exhibition of his prints at CCP in 2012.
"My process begins with drawings made in pocket-size sketchbooks. I must have 50 or 60 small sketchbooks filled with notations about things I've just seen or landscapes remembered and imagined. I take the books with me everywhere - on canoeing trips, to sporting events, on my travels. I make quick sketches or record ideas that might be developed into oil paintings. None of the drawings is very detailed, but each has enough information to remind me of ideas when I'm in my studio.
Light has come to play an important part, and when I look back over this body of work, I feel it speaks about spiritual places, places that contain a quiet inner light, radiating an ethereal whisper, the places we see every day."

Ron Pokrasso has been an exhibiting artist, printmaker and educator for more than 40 years. He received his MFA degree from Pratt Institute in 1975 and has had over 50 solo exhibitions and more than 150 group shows. For 11 years Pokrasso owned and directed Graphics Workshop (gifted to The College of Santa Fe in 1993). He is an originator of the printmaking event "Monothon" and has been an ardent supporter of arts programs for youth. His teaching experience includes universities, museums, public and private schools and private workshops and has participated in Artist Residencies abroad. In 2000 Ron Pokrasso received the Mayor's Recognition Award For Visual Arts citing his artistic and educational contribution to the city of Santa Fe.
Ron Pokrasso currently owns and directs the Galisteo Street Studio, a Fine Art Printmaking facility in Santa Fe, NM.

Sen2, whose original name is Sandro Figueroa Garcia (b. 1969), is a Puerto Rican self taught graffiti writer and artist. In the 'golden age' of graffiti during the 1980's, Sen2 was one of the founders of Mad Crew, which had great success in the artist's native country of Puerto Rico. After having moved to the United States, Sen2 became a member of the legendary Tats Crew, a group of prominent New York based graffiti artists and muralists.
Sen2 evolved from spraying wild-style pieces on trains and walls to developing mixed media works on canvases. He moved from classical New York graffiti writing to a combination of graphic lettering styles with 3-D elements, imagery of pop art, and abstract art techniques. His color palette ranges from grayscale pieces to paintings in a full range of bright and shiny colors. Besides fine art and pop culture references, all of Sen2's pieces have graffiti elements in them to reflect his artistic roots and sophisticated style. He blurs the lines between graffiti and fine art.
Since 2001, his artwork has been on display around the globe, exhibiting in numerous solo and group shows in America, Canada, and throughout Europe. His work has been exhibited in the IFPDA Fair 2021, Art Basel, Wynnwood Walls, and he currently has an exhibition at the Bendheim Gallery in Greenwich CT.
Sen2 Studio is located in the Bronx, NY, where he currently resides.

The Giving Tree is an annual tradition where auction-goers can choose to donate directly to our programs by purchasing from our wish list for studio equipment. The CCP community benefits enormously from Giving Tree donations, as they cover much-needed goods and services useful for our staff and artists throughout the year.
This giving option allows for flexible donation amounts. Each donation level supports various goods, supplies, and services essential to CCP's continued operation. This LOT# allows for bidders to support the Center according to their budget.
Your generous donation of $25 enables CCP to maintain our supplies of brushes, brayers, ink knives, paper towels and more.
Your generous donation of $50 offsets the cost of solvents, inks, etching grounds, screen reclaimer and more.
Your generous donation of $100 supports replacing the blanket on our silk screen exposure unit, and the purchase of extra large cutting mats and woodworking tools.
Your generous donation of $250 will assist CCP with much needed restretching of damaged silkscreens, the acquisition of a new aquatint screen, or the purchase of photographic equipment
Your generous donation of $500 underwrites the improvement of our etching facilities and chemical storage areas, a requisite for compliance with state and federal regulations.
Your generous donation of $1000 will supply CCP with the funds to replace worn out etching blankets, press parts and otherwise maintain printing facilities.

This giving option allows for flexible donation amounts. Every dollar donated will be used to offset the cost of purchasing this item.
CCP's large format printer was last purchased over 10 years ago and has seen hundreds of hours of use. In order to provide the best quality resources to our artists and members, CCP is in need of replacing our current Epson Stylus PRO 7600 with a contemporary model of the Epson T3270.
This large format inkjet printer, with a maximum print width of 24 inches, can print at a maximum resolution of 2880 x 1440 dpi at an extremely fast print speed of 22 x 34 inches in 28 seconds. As we use our inkjet to produce films for photographic methods of printmaking and to print promotional materials, replacing our current large format printer would be incredibly beneficial to all aspects of our programming.
GOAL: $3500 raised toward the labor and material of upgrades to our lighting and electrical systems of the upstairs studio.
CCP consulted with A.W. Construction of Norwalk in 2020 for much needed improvements to the electrical systems and lighting of CCP's studios. The $3500 proposal includes:
GOAL: $4000 raised toward installing a combination eyewash and safety shower station in our etching room.
As a private employer, CCP is obligated to follow State and Federal regulations that are listed by OSHA (Occupational Health and Safety Association). As we use ferric chloride, a hazardous chemical, in the amounts of five gallons or more, we are obligated by OSHA to have a plumbed emergency shower and eyewash station installed nearby our etching facilities. Having an eyewash station would also give us great relief in that we are providing the safest working environment possible for our members, artists, and staff.
The goal of $4000 for this giving tree item covers the cost of materials and labor in a quote provided to us by Jacozzi Plumbing and Heating of Fairfield County, who has installed fixtures like these in institutions around the state of Connecticut.
