Priceless 8th Grade Art Piece

8th grade students collaborated on a mixed media art piece for the Spectacular. Each part of the artwork is made from painted paper created by the students. The artists painted, drew, layered, and designed their painted paper, focusing on different shades of blue. They were also challenged to include what St. John's means to them. You can see some pieces that include positive words, such as friends, love, and quotes from authors and artists. Each part of this piece is unique and truly shows the creative ability of the 8th grade students and is sure to make a lovely addition to your home!

Special thanks to the following students who designed the final layout of painted paper and worked with their art teacher, Ms. Pearce to layer the pieces and create the final image; Ellie Wilt, Ryleigh Simonton, Kendall Cook, and Emma Martinez.
