Making A Donation

How can I make a donation?
There are many ways you can donate to CoCA:

  1. Make a donation on the CoCA website.
  2. Make a donation on the M&A homepage. 
  3. Submit a donation with your ticket purchase.
  4. Visit the "Donate" tab on the M&A homepage (also allows for anonymous donations).
  5. Text COCA to 76278 and follow the prompts to complete your registration. After you receive your welcome message, text GIVE followed by the dollar amount. For example, the text "GIVE 150" places a $150 donation. No dollar sign or decimal is needed. Follow the prompts to finalize payment.
  6. Become a CoCA Sponsor!

 

How do I make a donation by check or cash?

Check donations must be mailed to CoCA Gallery at 114 Third Ave S. Seattle, WA 98104. Cash donations must be made at the gallery during open hours- Thursday - Saturday from 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM PST.

 

How can I become a CoCA sponsor?
To learn more about our sponsor opportunities, visit "Sponsor Registration" on the M&A homepage. For additional information regarding sponsorship, reach out directly to our Development Committee at development@cocaseattle.org.

 

Ticket Registration

 Do I need a ticket in order to attend the Live Auction Main Event?

No. The Live Auction Main Event is FREE to attend and can be accessed via our M&A homepage, Facebook LIVE, and Youtube on September 18 at 7:00 PM PST with or without a ticket. To access the event via our M&A homepage, click the red "Watch the Main Event!" button to join the event. Though a ticket is not necessary to watch, those who wish to donate or bid must join through our M&A homepage and have completed registration or purchased an M&A VIP Package.

 

How do I buy an M&A VIP Package or Specialty Cocktail Add-On?

You can purchase your M&A VIP Package on our M&A homepage. Be sure to fill out all the question fields when prompted. You will be asked to create an account username and password which will allow you to make updates to your profile throughout the duration of the event. When you purchase a ticket, there is no need to register to bid or donate. All of that is expedited with your VIP Package purchase.

Following your ticket purchase, you will receive a confirmation email and text message with your own personal link to the M&A homepage and campaign. 

 

I would like to buy a VIP M&A Package that includes a Nue-for-Two meal. Can you deliver to my address?

Our Seattle delivery service area is as follows: North boundary - Lynnwood; East boundary - Redmond; West boundary - West Seattle; and South boundary - Federal Way (See below to see a full list of delivery zip codes).

 

I am an M&A VIP. When will I receive my early access auction catalog, swag bag, and Nue-for-Two meal?

All M&A VIPs will receive a personal link to a digital version of our early access auction catalog in the first week of September.


VIPs that live within the delivery service area will receive their swag bag as well as their Nue-for-Two meal on September 17. As delivery takes place one day before the Live Auction Main Event, Nue-for-Two meals arrive at your household pre-packaged and complete with reheating instructions. 


VIPs that reside outside the delivery service area have the option to either opt-out of receiving food, pick up their food at Nue on September 17, or receive a gift certificate. Swag Bags are mailed to out-of-town VIPs.

 

Auction Participation

 How does a Virtual Auction work?

Virtual auctions enable participants to register and bid in an auction via a computer or smartphone device. CoCA is hosting two auctions, one silent and one live auction (See the event overview on the M&A homepage).
Use the instructions provided below to learn how to register and bid in the Silent and Live Auctions. 

 

How do I register to participate in the Silent and Live Auctions? 

To register to participate in the auction without purchasing an M&A VIP Package, visit the M&A homepage and click the "Register to Bid" button, or text COCA to 76278 using your smartphone device and provide your name and email address when prompted. You will be asked to create an account username and password which will allow you to make updates to your profile throughout the duration of the event. 

Following your ticket purchase, you will receive a confirmation email and text message with your own personal link to the M&A homepage and campaign. If you have purchased an M&A VIP Package or made a donation already, there is no need to register again.

 

How do I bid on an auction item?

Once you have registered, there are four ways you can bid.

  1. Smartphone: Click the link that was provided in your welcome text, this takes you to your personal bidding homepage. Select the "View Items" button and place a bid or auto bid on an auction item.
  2. Text: Text the auction item's number and bid amount after the welcome message is received. For example, the text "100 150" places a $150 bid on item number 100. No dollar sign or decimal is needed.
  3. Computer: Click the "View Items" button on the homepage and place a bid or auto bid on an auction item.
  4. Personal Shopper: Reach out to marathon@cocaseattle.org. Our team would be happy to place your bids for you.

If you are outbid at any point during the auction, you will receive a text message notifying you of this update.


Hot Tip for the LIve Auction: Saving a credit card on your file expedites the bidding process!

 

How do I pay for my auction item once I have won?

Visit the M&A homepage and log in to your account using the username/password you created when you made a donation, registered for the auction, or made a ticket purchase. Visit the "Pay" tab at the top of the page to view and pay your remaining balance with a credit card.

Please reach out to marathon@cocaseattle.org if you are interested in completing your payment by cash or check.

 

How do I retrieve my auction item/experience?

We ask that buyers pick up their auction items from CoCA Gallery (114 3rd Ave. S Seattle, WA 98104) between the hours of 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM on either Tuesday, 09/21 or Wednesday, 09/22.

Artworks can be shipped from CoCA or Artists to buyers that are located outside of Seattle. Please note that buyers must contact CoCA Staff if they require their auction item to be shipped and are responsible for shipping fees.

 

Watching the Events

 Where can I watch the Live Auction Main Event?
The Live Auction Main Event can be accessed via our M&A homepage, Facebook LIVE, and Youtube on September 18 at 7:00 PM PST with or without a ticket. 

 

What device can I use to watch the Live Auction Main Event?
The Live Auction Main Event can be viewed on your smartphone or personal computer. It is highly recommended that if you plan to participate in the Live Auction or Raise the Paddle during the Main Event that you watch the event on your personal laptop or desktop computer. This ensures easy access to the bid and donation features on the site.

 

How do I watch the Marathon?
Our Marathon Premiere takes place on September 17 and can be watched on our Instagram page.


I am an M&A VIP. How do I watch the VIP Preview Party?

Registered VIPs will receive an email containing a Zoom Link to the VIP Preview in the days leading up to the Main Event. 


How do I watch the VIP Preview Party and/or Live Auction Main Event on my television?

Raise Your Paddle

How do I donate to CoCA's Raise Your Paddle?

You can donate to our Raise Your Paddle now or anytime during the Live Auction Main Event. There are two ways you can donate to CoCA's Raise Your Paddle event:

  1. Visit the "Donate" tab on the M&A homepage.
  2. Visit "Raise Your Paddle" on the M&A homepage.

 

Your Account

 How do I update my credit card information and/or ticket registration responses?

Visit the M&A homepage and log in to your account using the username/password you created when you made a donation, registered for the auction, or made a ticket purchase. Visit the "My Info" tab at the top of the page to update your information.

 

How do I view my statement?

Visit the M&A homepage and log in to your account using the username/password you created when you made a donation, registered for the auction, or made a ticket purchase. Visit the "Pay" tab at the top of the page to view or email your credit card statement.
