Chase the chilly air away in this Celtic Knot Poncho made from Hobby Lobby's I Love This Yarn acrylic yarn. It can be machine washed and dried (and has been through a cycle of each already).

A note from our talented donor: It took approximately six months to knit and was a joy to work on. Cables are my favorite things to knit because of their rich texture.
This poncho contains a total of 10 different kinds of cabling stitches making up the cable designs, the most interesting of which is the Celtic Dara Knot.

The Dara Knot symbolizes wisdom and strength. The symbol comes from the Gaelic word "Doire" which means "oak tree". The Dara Knot is believed to represent the root system that holds up the heavy body of the ancient oak tree, sacred to the Celts.

Dimensions: 35" long by 37" across. The neckline is approximately 11" wide.
