The bonsai class is currently one of the most popular classes offered at Valley Forge Flowers.
This is a wonderful opportunity to try this beautiful art form that can be traced back 2,000 years. Your instructor, Randall Naftal, is a founder of the Pennsylvania Bonsai Society and chaired the bonsai exhibit at the Philadelphia Flower Show for many years. Randall will give a short talk on the history of bonsai and discuss the various styles.
Then, it's time to dig in and work on your own plant. You will learn how to prune, shape and wire the branches along with instructions of the care of your bonsai.
