This is the latest from the USS Kittiwake Collection by photographer/artist Jim Hellemn. The ship off the coast of Grand Cayman was white, now an active artificial reef teeming with life. Named "New Colors" this fine art piece mounted on aluminum is 32 inches by 48 inches with a nice UV finish. Jim used his multi-image techniques and the world's most powerful underwater strobes to record a super resolution image of the front of the ship, looking into the front portholes.. Captured in more than 50 overlapping images photographed at close range, the spectacularcolors of the Kittiwake's new makeover come alive.
