"A Good Day's End"
12 x 16"
There's nothing better than spending the day soaking in the scene and enjoying the view at your favorite spot. Then suddenly, when you think it couldn't get any more spectacular, the sky opens up and lets in the last moments of sunlight, revealing a magnificent golden sunset that you will never forget!
Bill Cramer
"Dancing on the Edge"
16 x 20"
This is a plein air painting created at Pima Point. It's one of Cramer's favorite spots along the South Rim. Like many of the rim trees, this one has a lot of twists from the exposure of living on the edge. He seems to be handling it with style!

"Nightfall"
Cloaked in blue, the vast size and depth of the canyon appear even greater at the end of the day as the sun sets. It's a mysterious and appealing hour for a painter to capture.
"Nightfall" is a 12x16" studio oil painting framed in a dark wood frame with gold inner liner. The signed preliminary ink & marker on paper drawing, 5.5x7.25", which was used to design the composition and values, is included.

"Shoshone Morning"
Oil on canvas
Shoshone Point can only be accessed on certain days. On the morning I decided to drive the 1.2 mile, unpaved, single-lane road leading to the point, the sky was clear except for a few clouds, and the only other people on the whole point were two college roommates from Michigan, who needed a helping hand for a "couples shot" instead of "a selfie." The rest of the morning I was all alone shooting and planning some great compositions of "Shoshone Point."
Mick McGinty is also including a rough sketch with his auction piece.

"Drifting In"
16 x 16"
Cloud shadows drift through the canyon; hiding then revealing millions of years of Earth's history. Silently, effortlessly shade is offered... then taken back as the day passes slowly by.
Kari Ganoung Ruiz has also included a 6 x 6" study with her auction piece.

"My Favorite Place"
"My Favorite Place" was painted "en plein air" on a perfectly clear, cold, quiet day in the winter. All think any season is a great time to visit & paint at the canyon, but I especially love winter, when the forest fires are gone, the air is cool, clear, and crisp, with good visibility. I hope this painting transports you to the canyon, so you feel the fresh air and it brings a smile.
