Chef Craig Strong, whose 25+ year career in luxury hotels and resorts earned him a Michelin star during his time at The Langham Huntington Hotel & Spa in Pasadena, has come full circle to his native Southern California roots. Chef Strong previously held the title of Executive Chef at the prestigious Studio at Montage in Laguna Beach for nine years. From the coasts of California to Washington, DC and Barcelona to Hong Kong, Chef Strong has cooked all over the world. His dishes draw inspiration from the culture and cuisine that make these places unique. From growing up in San Diego and cooking with produce from the family garden, Chef Strong has been sharing his coastal California cuisine with the community he has embraced for the past decade. Formerly at Studio at Montage and Ocean at Main, Chef Strong is now the executive chef at both Hotel Laguna and Terra.
After refining his artistic skills in traditional media, in 2001 Bill Atkins evolved into the world of digital media. During the past 16 years, he's successfully worked on a wide variety of projects for clients including: The City of Irvine, Orange Coast River Park, South Coast Water District, Dana Point Harbor, Laguna Beach, Newport Beach and Orange County California. Bill's unique talents were put to good use by the Aqua Caliente Casino, Resort & Spa in Rancho Mirage, California, where he designed and created nearly 100 custom posters to promote the artists performing at the casino.

The 2022 Gate & Garden Walking tour will be held on Saturday May 7th, 2022, from 10 am-4 pm, starting at the Laguna Beach County Water District. The building's gorgeous "Mediterranean Revival" style building built in 1927 is now the permanent host venue for the Laguna Beach Garden Club Gate & Garden Tour. Luxury VIP Buses will transport you to the start of the tour where you will stroll through a masterfully curated set of gardens in local neighborhoods.
The festive event will offer artisanal margaritas and Mexican fare for sale, as well as free spectacular homemade baked good and refreshments. In addition to being able to enjoy plein air painters in several gardens, you can participate in a raffle of prizes from local artists and businesses. It has become one of the most popular events in our town with multiple years of sold out attendance!
Our 2021 Gate & Garden Tour, held in May of 2021, netted more than $35,000 to help support educational gardens, student scholarships and community projects.

The Wine Gallery has a unique, casual atmosphere that will make you feel right at home. The wine selection is amazing, including over 25 wines by the glass and their own line of wines called Mile 216. The cuisine is all built around a wood-fired oven, from small plates to fantastic pizza to charcuterie boards, hangar steaks and seafood. Long Beach, California born artist Mark Timothy has been an influential innovator and creator of original concepts in art since the early 1990's. Best known for his series of ethereal figurative and seascape photographs, he uses his own innovative camera techniques to create the unique look of his images which has become a trademark of his work.
Mark Timothy creates his photographs by using a slow shutter speed technique which allows him to capture light in a particular way. "Light flows into my camera like paint onto a canvas." He describes how he captures the light, "I sometimes create images by maneuvering my camera purposefully as it receives the light, resulting in a dreamlike picture."
