Celebrating more than 50 years of public television excellence, WSBE Rhode Island PBS presents An Evening Uncorked at Home! this fall as a virtual fundraising event.

2020 challenged us all, and our pivot to a virtual event last October met with great success. For the continued safety of our guests and staff, our annual fundraiser returns as a virtual event for 2021.

An Evening Uncorked at Home! is a 13-day online auction featuring a wide assortment of items, from the sweet and practical to the luxurious and indulgent. Visit this auction often as new items will be added regularly.

The event culminates in a 30-minute broadcast and live stream on Wednesday, October 13 at 8 p.m. An Evening Uncorked at Home! features a special performance by acclaimed duo Atwater-Donnelly, highlights our Education Services work in and out of classrooms, and previews local productions coming to Rhode Island PBS.

Flip through our Event Program Book, or click the QR code, for the list of auction items as of October 1.

Rhode Island PBS is delighted to present Atwater-Donnelly in a special performance for An Evening Uncorked at Home!  Enjoy the inspiring musical interlude on Wednesday, October 13 at 8 p.m., filmed at The Towers - the iconic landmark in Narragansett, Rhode Island.

Aubrey Atwater and Elwood Donnelly blend gorgeous harmonies and play a wide assortment of instruments, including guitar, Appalachian mountain dulcimer, harmonica, banjo, and more. Their performances appeal to all ages, and with humor, audience participation, a relaxed stage presence, and a thrilling interpretation of freestyle Appalachian clog dancing, Aubrey and Elwood often explain song origins to give context and more relevance to the compositions.

Married since 1989, Aubrey and Elwood perform throughout the United States and abroad, and their thirteen recordings receive international airplay.
