This year's Michigan Humane Fur-tual Spring Auction isn't just your last opportunity to snag a 2022 calendar page for your most adorable fur baby. It is a critical fundraising effort to help sustain one of our most challenged facilities.  

Humane Society of Livingston County (HSLC) reached out to Michigan Humane for assistance in the fall of 2018 amidst mounting financial concerns. In August 2019, after many discussions and a mutually beneficial partnership developed, HSLC officially became part of the Michigan Humane family, which includes locations in Detroit, Rochester Hills, Westland and a satellite location at Petco in Sterling Heights.  

In the past year, at our Livingston County Center for Animal Care, Michigan Humane has: 

• Doubled adoption rates  
• Decreased length of stay by 70% 
• Increased veterinary services 
• Improved the facility 
• Installed emergency generator 
• Constructed an animal exam room and x-ray suite 
• Added an animal food prep area  

With your support of this year's Fur-tual Spring Auction, we can continue to serve the Livingston County community and the region as a whole by furthering our shared mission.
