One 1 Day of Bass Fishing for One or Two Persons. Hosted By Max Scholfield. Max will provide guide service for 1-2 people at an area lake (Navajo, Vallecito, McPhee, Morgan). The date is flexible and will be determined based on everyone's availability in the calendar year 2021. Conventional tackle (spinning gear) will be provided if desired. Fly-fishing is discouraged. Max will also furnish the bass boat, gas, and all accompanying equipment, such as life jackets, live wells, fresh breeze in your face; fish may be optional. Lunch and licenses will be the guest's responsibility.

Bonita Peak Mining District Tour and Animas Fishing: Come spend the day in the upper Animas with TU staff, Ty Churchwell. The mines near Silverton are home to a massive Superfund cleanup to improve water quality, and therefore the trout fishing. Visit remediation sites, understand the objectives and learn what TU is doing to recover the upper Animas fishery. Tour includes lunch and afternoon fishing above Silverton. Glen Hinshaw was a Wildlife Conservation Officer in the Cortez District for 3 years before ransferring to Creede, where he was the District Wildlife Manager for 22 years. While in Creed, Glen was given the Colorado Trout Unlimited Conservationist of the Year Award in 1985. "Crusaders for Wildlife" 2nd Edition is Glen's latest book. It is 402 pages with 172 pictures and illustrations chronicles the stewardship of Colorado's fish and wildlife from the early 1800s through September 2018. "Echoes From The Mountains: the Life and Adventures of a Colorado Wildlife Officer" is Glen's autobiography. This is more than the typical game warden book, but tells a story of how a big-city kid dreamed of being a Colorado Game Warden.
