General Event Questions

Is my ticket tax deductible?
Yes, depending on the ticket you purchase all or a portion of it is tax deductible. Virginia Stage Company is a 501 c3 non profit, tax id #54-0829234.
When will I get my link to the performance?
Links will be sent out 24 hours prior to the performance start time via email. It is important that you give us a valid email that you can access during weekend hours. Links will go "live" at 5:30pm for cocktail ticket holders and 7:00pm for event only ticket purchasers. Please email Kandis if you have not received your link.
I am at a sponsor table and will be in person at the event, do I need to wear a mask?
Following the guidance of the CDC and Virginia Department of Health, masks will be optional for vaccinated guests at the Gala. Masks are strongly encouraged for unvaccinated guests.
Do I have to pay the credit card fees?
Although it is appreciated, you do not have to pay for the fees. Just uncheck the box during check out and the fee will be removed.
Auction and Bidding Questions
Do I have to register a credit card to bid?
Yes, registering a credit card will make the check out process quicker. You will be prompted and will have to approve all charges during the check out process. If you have questions regarding an item on your receipt, please contact Kandis Hyde.
How do I pay for my item once I win?
We require that you put a credit card on file when bidding on items for an easy, quick check out. At the end of the night on 6/12, you'll be able to go to your activity and check out with just a few clicks! If you prefer to pay by check, please reach out to Kandis Hyde for information on how to send in your payment. If you do not check out within 24 hours of the event, you give Virginia Stage Company permission to automatically process your transaction. You will receive a minimum of 2 notifications via text or email before we will charge your card on file.
How do I retrieve or arrange my auction item/experience?
A VSC staff member will contact you after the auction closes on 6/12 with all the pertinent information you need to know for the next steps in fulfilling your auction win. Keep an eye on your email inbox! If the item can't be mailed, the exact pick up times currently are:
June 15th - 12-6pm
June 16th - 10-4pm
June 17th - 9-2pm
