We look forward to seeing you tomorrow Tuesday, September 14th for our 4th annual Watkinson Golf Classic at Wampanoag Country Club. This important event is supporting Watkinson's City Scholars Program. Our goal is to raise over $20,000 for future City Scholar students.
Here is some important information!
To streamline your check in, please visit https://watgolf21.givesmart.com/ to - pre-register, purchase raffle tickets and bid on our, new this year, silent auction! The auction will close on Tuesday at 7pm.
Registration and lunch begin at 11:30am with an open bar from 11:30am-12:30pm. The shotgun start is at 1pm. Cocktail reception & dinner following.
We accept cash or credit card for the following:
Raffle tickets - 25 for $25 (pre-purchase or at registration)
* Mulligans - 1 per person - $10 (purchase only at registration)
Hit the Green Contest for a chance to win an Ogio Golf Bag- $20 (sold at hole #9)
The health and safety of you, our participants, is extremely important this year, so please read the club's Covid-19 rules below.
Under the Governor's Executive Order No. 13A order issued on August 5, 2021, the Town Manager, as the Town's chief executive officer, has the sole authority to issue a municipal mask mandate in West Hartford. West Hartford's indoor mask mandate will require all persons to wear a mask in any indoor place in town. Please bring your mask and plan to wear it whenever you are inside the club house (when not eating or drinking).

The Watkinson Classic Golf Tournament is a fundraiser to support
Watkinson School's City Scholar Program
The City Scholar Program provides scholarship funding for Hartford students who are college-bound but not college-ready, to attend The Academy. An extension of Watkinson's unique approach to education, The Academy is a pre-college year that combines developing skills through classes at Watkinson, acquiring confidence through earning credits at the University of Hartford, and earning maturity through engagement with other areas of personal interest. Academy students collaboratively design their own program of targeted academic study and learning about themselves and the world around them, resulting in enhanced ability to thrive independently in college and beyond.
