Some of what you see here is straight photography, but much of it is "composited," i.e., made up of parts of two or more images. For the composited pieces, my process of creation is a lot like painting: I begin with an image that intrigues me and then embellish it with other images or parts of images to make the statement. The images are blended together digitally in Photoshop using "layers."

Typically, when producing my art, I do not have an end in mind, but strive for a result that is both beautiful and edgy, sweet and disturbing, mirroring how I see life itself. Most of my images are surreal, i.e., a blend of the actual and the imagined, the abstract and the literal.
