We are focusing on the resolve and determination of the incredible children who overcome trauma from neglect and abuse this Child Abuse Prevention Month. Even a year into the COVID-19 pandemic these children continue to take inspiring steps forward in their journey toward wellbeing.

As we cross the one-year mark of the pandemic, we know prevention programs will become increasingly crucial. The absence of teachers, doctors, neighbors, and friends in children's lives this past year has led to a major decline in neglect and abuse reporting - but cases have increased. That's why we're dedicated to providing access to preventative services that are essential to building stronger, healthier families. Like our Community-Based Services which create access to therapy, skills building, and resource connection. To make it easier to access support, clinicians travel to homes and schools in 18 diverse counties across Colorado, lowering the barriers to needed support.
