Description: Richards Poey created his sculpture in the MCFTA foundry and exhibited at the Art Center for many years. The dramatic markings of the alabaster inspired the title of this piece, in which he pairs the organic forms of the stone figure with the geometries of a unique cast bronze base.

Description: Richard's workshop at MCFTA took participants through two wonderful days of raku firing techniques. His partner, Carrin Rosetti, collaborates on the work, which is widely exhibited and collected. This pear-shaped form is thrown on the wheel, but doesn't perform any function other than to delight the eye!
