ELF is America's oldest active racing sailboat (built in 1888) and spends summers at the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum, maintained by The Classic Yacht Restoration Guild, founded by Capt. Rick Carrion. The Captain has campaigned ELF for over 50 years, and invites 4-6 enthusiasts to join him on an afternoon sail on the Miles River., a cruise generates income for CYRG, and is valued at $200.

Sailing experience is requested, as it requires several people to serve as crew (no children please). Capt. Rick will work with the winner to find a mutually agreeable afternoon in August-September, and have contingency plans in case of unsuitable weather..

Any existing Covid guidelines will be observed.
