Online ordering for the 5th annual LHF Native Plant Sale is now closed. Pickup for online purchases, as well as a cash-only in-person sale for remaining plants (there are only a few!), will take place on Saturday, May 22, from 9 am - 1 pm, at the Lake Hopatcong Foundation Environmental & Cultural Center, 125 Landing Road, Landing. Masks and social distancing will be required.
We are excited to present our 5th annual native plant sale online from May 14-20, with order pickup and an in-person sale of the remaining plants at the LHF Environmental & Cultural Center on Saturday, May 22, from 9 am - 1 pm.
We hope you enjoy browsing the more than 40 varieties of native plants available. Click the "Purchase Plants" button to complete an order form (order form opens on May 14). For additional photos and the ability to sort plants by the categories like deer resistant, likes shade, or pollinator, click "View Plants."
A little tip: if you register for the sale, the registration button with the question "Want to participate in the auction?" on each item goes away, making it easier to browse. In addition, once registered, we can text you a reminder when the sale is open (you can unsubscribe at any time). This is a sale, not an auction, so don't mind the wording.
Please note, photos supplied are generally of mature and blooming plants, the plants provided will be well-rooted, new plantings in quart containers unless otherwise noted. Summer and fall bloomers will generally be smaller than spring bloomers at purchase (see a photo example on this post). Our native plants are supplied by Well-Sweep Herb Farm and are grown organically - without chemical pesticides or fungicides.
- The deadline for orders is Thursday, May 20, at 6:00 pm.
- Plant orders can be picked up on Saturday, May 22, from 9 am - 1 pm, at the LHF Environmental & Cultural Center, 125 Landing Road, Landing.
- There will also be an in-person sale of the remaining plants on Saturday, May 22, from 9 am - 1 pm, at the LHF Environmental & Cultural Center, 125 Landing Road, Landing.
We applaud you and the difference you are making by selecting native shrubs, trees, and perennials in your yards and gardens to protect wildlife, minimize chemical run-off, and protect our planet. Each plant truly makes a difference.
Thank you and happy planting!
