Beneficiary: Bailey-Boushay House

Bailey-Boushay House (BBH) opened its doors in 1992 as a specialized nursing facility to care for people in our community living and dying from HIV/AIDS. As HIV/AIDS, evolved so did Bailey-Boushay House. Today, they still provide specialized nursing care to people in the community living with HIV/AIDS, but also care for residents with ALS, Huntington's disease and terminal cancer. BBH serves more than 350 clients in our outpatient program. BBH provides emergency shelter to about 50 outpatient clients experiencing homelessness.

The outpatient program provides many essential services including medication management, meals, groceries, social work services, shower and laundry facilities, a safe quiet place to rest, and most importantly a space where clients always feel welcome and a sense of community. Many clients struggle with addiction and homelessness in addition to living with HIV/AIDS.

All gifts to Swirl will support Bailey-Boushay House's efforts to provide food and hygiene supplies to our clients who rely on us every day. Consider a Champion level gift of $1,000 or more. Your donation will ensure we are able to meet the growing needs of our clients.
