Grand Strand Future Generations Golf Tournament in Memory of Jacob Elliott

Jacob B. Elliott

Jacob came to Myrtle Beach in January 2009 and attended the Golf Academy of America and graduated in April 2010. During the next nine years he lived and worked in the North Myrtle Beach and Murrells Inlet areas. Throughout this time, Jacob was fortunate to make many acquaintances and dear friends, and eventually came to value Murrells Inlet as his second home and family. His life was blessed with much happiness, joy, and accomplishment during his daily interactions with friends, coworkers, clients, and their families.

Jacob was tragically killed in a house fire, alongside his best friend, his dog, Bubba on February 26th, 2019. His family put together the Jacob B Elliott Memorial Tournament as a way to honor his memory, and raise money for First Tee - Coastal Carolinas. Although they are skipping this year because of Covid, the 2nd Annual Jacob B. Elliott Memorial Tournament will once again be held in March of 2022.

First Tee - Coastal Carolinas is honored to name Jacob for this year's Future Generations Golf Tournament. We, along with Jacob's family and friends, thank you in advance for your support of this event.
