Each year, ANGEL'S ENVY carefully selects barrels exceptional enough for the lengthy finishing process used to create ANGEL'S ENVY Cask Strength Bourbon Finished in Port Barrels. ANGEL'S ENVY starts as a premium bourbon of uncompromising quality, aged up to seven years for the perfect level of richness and maturity. The hand-selected barrels are then blended and undergo a lengthy finishing process in Portuguese port wine casks.

The 2018 release included 12,000 bottles of 124-proof, or 62% ABV, bourbon. Flavor notes:

Aroma: banana and honey, light burnt wood
Taste: caramel, sweet raisins, cola, herbal notes
Finish: dark chocolate, heavy toasted oak, fresh figs
Look: golden ruby

The bottle is presented in an intricately carved wooden box with art deco lines reminiscent of The Great Gatsby.
