Artist Statement: An original mixed media painting, 12 inches. Starting with raw, unstretched canvas, I layer watercolor, acrylic paint, and pastels until it feels done...and then I layer and layer some more. From a collection of 12 paintings in late summer 2020, emerging from uncertain times and escaping into excess for relief, joy, comfort, and connection.
About the Artist: Rebecca Holopter is a watercolor artist focused on colorful portraits and abstracts. In 2015, Rebecca started a daily practice of drawing animals that grew into a watercolor a day of varying subjects thru 2017. She has had two solo shows of her portraits, co-curated and shown in an all women's art show, and self-released a collection during the middle of a pandemic. Rebecca works with themes of nostalgia, humor, inspiring women, and painting as a meditation. She also teaches watercolor techniques at a local art studio.

Thursday - No hunting this morning as you will be transferred back to Brownsville and check-in for your flight home departing after 11:00 am. THURSDAY - SUNDAY Thursday - arrival into Brownsville, TX before 11:00 am where a member from La Finca Lodge will be on hand to greet you.
