Forever distinguished as the first program of its kind in the state of Texas, the Center for International Studies (CIS) at University of St. Thomas-Houston (UST) will celebrate its 40th anniversary on Friday, September 17, 2021.
Join us as we celebrate 40 years of inspiring and educating future leaders for a changing world with a garden party hosted at Hermann Park Conservancy's Cherie Flores Pavilion to honor many longtime supporters and colleagues, and especially our esteemed alumni. Founded in 1981, the Center for International Studies -- the oldest degree program of its kind in Texas, and home to the third largest undergraduate major at UST-- seeks to solidify its legacy by establishing a $4 million endowment focused on programs, scholarships, staffing, and capacity building.
