Birding with Matt Kalwasinski

Includes 5 hours of private birding with Indiana & Dunes-Calumet Audubon member, Matt Kalwasinski. The birding can be arranged anytime through May 2022 in Northwest Indiana, including the Indiana Dunes region and Kankakee Sands in Newton County. Includes up to 4 individuals for the tour.

Dunes Birding Duo Cookie Ferguson and Kim Ehn will lead 2-4 interested folk on a Fall half day (4 hours) search for migrating species around the Dunes in Lake, Porter, and/or LaPorte Counties. We can also consider your favorite locations. We will look and listen for Fall migration and resident birds that may include warblers, sparrows, hawks, and possibly shorebirds and waterfowl.

Let's start at the Porter County Visitor Center on a September or October morning to share our travel plans. By the end of our time, we will be ready for a yummy treat before we part ways.
