Cooling Pond Brewery in Lake Anna, Virginia, specializes in crafting approachable English-inspired beers named for historic taverns in the area, as well as a rotating variety of choices to please all palates.

In this complete brewing experience, you will bring a new flavor of beer to life from concept development, the brewing process, packaging, naming, and - of course - sharing your creation with family and friends.

You'll begin by evaluating your favorite beer style to understand its origin, characteristics, and flavor range. You'll then help develop the recipe and ingredient selection. Then comes "Brew Day". You'll participate in brew day operations including ingredient preparation, mash-in, lauter, boil, and transfer to fermenter. You'll assist with tank preparation and cleaning, grain recycling, and the importance of cleanliness in the quality of your beer.

You can propose a name and, upon approval, come back with your friends and family to enjoy a free tasting! Cooling Pond's tasting room features a large stone fireplace with plenty of seating, and right outside their doors is an expansive patio where you can enjoy the hilltop breezes and the view.

Three friends can join you for the brewing process, but 50+ can join you for the tasting! Your beer will continue to be sold at Cooling Pond Brewery until supply runs out.

Brew Day must take place on a weekday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.; scheduled before 10/15/21 to be completed by 11/15/21, or between 3/1/22-4/30/22.
