TOP IT INITIATIVES
NCR continues to significantly advance progress in executing our strategy; remaining focused on our transition to drive NCR as-a-Service and achieving our 80/60/20 financial goals (80% of revenue to come from software and services, 60% of NCR's revenue to come from recurring revenue, and 20% goal for adjusted EBITDA as a percent of revenue).
This transition includes several key IT initiatives across the company including:
- NCR Software Development across the 3 industries (Retail, Hospitality, and Banking) in building out the common platform, standard API's, and add-on service required to 'Run the Store, Run the Restaurant, and Run the self-directed banks'. This requires strong industry knowledge (including Payments), cloud architecture & data science/analytic skills to optimize business capabilities, and automation skills to accelerate technical deployments.
- Internal IT programs to transition our internal quote-to-cash systems from hardware / software license centric to 'recurring subscription' business - inclusive of a complex transition of our ERP (Oracle eBusiness Suite) to the cloud.
- M&A integration activities including the anticipated mid-year close with Cardtronics.
