Own a piece of history. The Tuskegee Airmen were the first Black aviators in the US Army Air Forces and, in 2012, EAA was fortunate enough to host a reunion of the group at AirVenture. Facing racial discrimination at home and and the dangers of combat abroad, these men still flew with distinction and paved the way for eventual integration of the armed forces. This reproduction of a World War II Captain's hat holds the authentic signatures of seven of these renowned pilots.
Note: Lot available for pick up after The Gathering 2021. Shipping at winning bidder's expense.
