No previous skills required. We'll go from the basics (how to pass the thread through the needle hole, for example) to learning 4 basic stiches: stem, French knot, satin and back stich. With those you can create a lot of beautiful things! Put the screens away and create something that will improve your concentration levels and hand-to-eye coordination. The rhythmic, repetitive movements necessary to embroider are proven to improve mental health and emotional wellbeing, increasing serotonin production and inducing a natural state of mindfulness. That plus wine makes a very good evening.
